I had the pleasure of working with Achilles and I must say it was a very rewarding and positive experience. I witnessed several times the pragmatic and quality driven decisions and ways of working from Achilles. He is always available to help and support his teams and colleagues, a true team player for any organization. He is able to deal with complex and challenging situations with class, professionalism and some fun. His technical and people skills allow him to balance his activities and continuously promote a safe, constructive and growing environment. For this and much more I am looking forward for the next time I work with him.

Achilles is an excellent agile coach, who is proactive and energetic and drives to get results and accelerate your agile transformation. He was instrumental in creating the right environment for change, and driving best practice in agile to enable a number of squads within assisted channels in particular CRM squads achieve higher performance. Achilles is a pragmatic agilist and focuses on people, removing organisational blockers by working with executives and teams at all levels. he is a brilliant relationship builder and contributed to centre of excellence work to support upskilling of junior agile coaches at ING.

Achilles was a great Agile Coach to work with and would always find the time to listen to what was going on in my head without judgment. He had a tough engagement in an area that had a lot of complex dynamics going on but that didn’t seem to get him down. He inspired me with his constant ability to keep trying experiments in order to make a difference in service of the client. I hope to have the chance to work with Achilles again in the future.

As an agile coach, Achilles is someone patient, who can take a step back if necessary to evaluate what’s needed to reach the goal and create an environment where every individual feels appreciated and encouraged to grow. This combined with his straight forward, trustworthy and humorous personality he has a large impact on his teams. We were very lucky to have him in our team and I’m sure that our paths will cross again!

As one of the Agile coaches in the One Way of Working transformation program at ING Belgium, Achilles has shown himself not only to be highly knowledgeable on everything Agile, but also as a personality who is able to make everyone around him at ease. Sympathetically, with a great sense of humor, he will always make people feel valuable and heard. He approaches everyone with full transparency and trust, and in his ways, helps people to do the same. He is an excellent addition to any team, and I’d love to work with him again in the future!
